Russian Drivers – Set Presentation

Russian Drivers is a practical collection of six realistic drivers designed for Red Army vehicles during World War II. Each character has natural gray, hands ready for the steering wheel and proportions to fit most cabs (passenger cars, trucks, half-tracks, self-propelled guns). In the set you will find winter and field clothing – earflaps, "pilot hats", SSh steel helmets and officer caps, including long coats for cold weather.

Why SLA resin?

We are printing SLA with a layer of approx. 0,05--0,1mmSurfaces are smooth, edges sharp, details legible (seams, buckles, buttons, fabric folding). UV resin takes it very well resin primer, acrylic paints, washes, dry brush and pigments. Compared to classic plastic castings, you get cleaner base without disturbing molding lines.

Content and delivery method
The set is available as SET (6 pcs) or individual charactersThe parts are in light gray color, unpainted and incomplete. You will use the steering wheel from the car model. If you need to fine-tune the angle of your palms, hands after a short warm-up (warm water/hair dryer on low heat) can be adapted to the specific steering wheel.

Scales and compatibility
- 1:35 – standard of static modeling, wide compatibility of WW2 accessories.
- 1:16 – collector's scale with space for realistic skin shading and fabric textures.
For very narrow cockpits, we recommend a "dry" test first and only then final bonding.

Recommended painting procedure

  1. Parts in brief degrease in lukewarm soapy water, let dry.

  2. Send resin primer; shows areas for cleaning.

  3. Spray the base airbrush, finish the details with a brush (belts, buckles, coat hem).

  4. Lep CA (super glue), fill the micro-gaps with sealant.

  5. Patina: wash into the seams, dry brush on the edges, pigments for shoes and coat bottoms.

  6. Final spray matte/satin varnish.

Safety and age
Cutting and sanding resin creates fine dust – work in a ventilated area and use respirator. Do not expose parts to direct sunlight for long periods of time. The product is modeling material, not a toy. Recommended age: 10+ with adult supervision.

Historical neutrality
The motif is processed neutrally and serves exclusively for modeling purposes; it is not about promoting ideology.
